Creating a snowman makeup sounds like it requires a lot of skill to pull off. For one, how do you get the look of snow in a makeup? And what about a carrot nose? How do I make my face round like a snowball? So many questions!
While it may sound like a lot of work, there are some pretty simple ways to pull off a snowman makeup.
Let’s design our own snowman makeup look and incorporate some cool elements. Pun intended.
What’s a snowman makeup without snow? We’ve looked at creating the look of frostbite and ice for a snow queen, and there are some pretty creative ways using things you may already have at home.
Especially during the holidays, you may already have fake snow, glitter, icicles and more.
When using household items (things not necessarily made to be used as makeup) in your creative makeup, be sure to do your due diligence in testing the items and ensuring it is safe for you to use. While we encourage you to get creative, we also encourage you to be smart about the products you use in your looks.

Instead of using extra elements to create the look of snow, this artist uses texture to imitate snow.
You can achieve this by using a damp sponge to stipple product onto your skin.
You can use an inexpensive wedge sponge and tear tiny pieces from to create a bumpy surface on your sponge.
Then, use the torn areas to dap paint onto your skin. Going over the makeup continuously will create a snow-like effect.
